Rasheedat Ajibade rediscovered her scoring form, after a less than impressive world cup outing, to net a haul as FC Robo trounced Abia Queens 4-0 in Wednesday’s NWPL game.
Rasheedat led Nigeria’s attack line at the U20 World Cup in France, but was kept quite by defenders.
Back home though, as the NWPL resumed the second half of the season, FC Robo Queens, who were second from bottom in group B, stunned Abia Angels at the Legacy Pitch in Lagos.
The morning after, on social media, the young attacker shared her excitement to be back delivering goals again.
She tweeted: ????????????✨ Wonderful game for me yesterday scoring FOUR goals and our big home win against @AbiaAngels. It was a sweet victory✌ and I dedicate my goals to Almighty God, coach Emmanuel Osahan Orobosa and the fans. Grateful to my @officialFcrobo and you all. #RA08 #NWPL #RoboFC.
