Returnee Liverpool winger, Sheyi Ojo has attracted a princely £10m offer from English lower division side, Nottingham Forest.
Ojo has been severally loaned out of Anfield by The Reds’ hierarchy and, though he stated at the start of this summer that he wants to finally settle down on Merseyside, he may now be tempted to think otherwise by Nottingham’s offer.
Details of the report out of Queensland reveal that the East Midlands outfit have already made 10 first-team additions during the summer window, business which has resulted in the club being regarded as one of the favourites for promotion from the Championship.
Their next target is Ojo, who has made 13 first-team outings for Liverpool, but the bulk of his career has been spent on loan in the EFL over the past three seasons, first with Wigan Athletic then Wolverhampton Wanderers and last season at Fulham.
The Nigerian-born England under-21 international netted four goals in 24 appearances for Fulham in the past campaign, which ostensibly caught the fancy of Forest.
Consequently, Forest may not be finished in the market with Ojo emerging as a potential arrival before the start of the new campaign.
The former European Cup Winners Cup champions are considering spending as much as £10m on the 21-year-old Ojo, who could be allowed to leave Anfield in the coming weeks.
