Shooting Stars goalkeeper Okiemute Odah is optimistic about his team’s prospects of securing additional away victories in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL). The Oluyole Warriors have already notched two away wins this season against Doma United and Kano Pillars.
Expressing his confidence, Odah told the club’s media, “This is not the end of our celebration away from home. I’m sure we are still going to win more matches, at least two out of our remaining games on the road.”
Currently occupying the sixth position on the NPFL table with 46 points from 30 games, Shooting Stars has shown resilience and determination throughout the season. Odah’s belief in the team’s ability to continue their winning streak away from home highlights the positive spirit within the squad.
As they prepare for their upcoming fixture against Lobi Stars at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Shooting Stars will look to build on their recent performances and further climb up the NPFL standings where they currently are placed 6th. Beating Lobi Stars would mean they go level on points with 3rd placed Remo Stars on 49 points.
