Shooting Stars chairman, Babatunde Olaniyan Akoro, has urged Shooting Stars to secure maximum points in their upcoming match against Rivers United on Sunday.
The matchday 35 fixture will take place at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium.
Honourable Akoro, accompanied by General Manager Dimeji Lawal, met with the players and officials after Thursday’s training session.
He commended the Oluyole Warriors for their excellent performance against Abia Warriors last Sunday and encouraged them to build on that success with another win over Rivers United.
“We have a target, and I believe it is still achievable if we keep winning our games. I am urging you to go to Port Harcourt and secure the maximum points,” Akoro told the club’s media.
“You saw how our fans turned out in large numbers during our last game. They are solidly behind us, and if we can win against Rivers United, which I believe is possible, you will see even more support from them.”
