Levante of Spain winger, Moses Simon has raised the ante ahead of Tuesday’s international friendly against Uganda, as he says the visitors from Kampala will go back home empty handed.
Simon admitted that the Eagles are still relishing the joy of their qualification for the Africa Cup of Nations, but footballllive.ng can report that he and the other players are eager to excite their fans on home soil.
While admitting he would love to get a part of action this time, after missing the World Cup due to injury and sitting out Saturday’s match in Johannesburg, Simon said his love for national team action will not diminish.
The former SK Trencin of Slovakia and KAA Gent of Belgium star added that all players in the Eagles’ squad are looking forward to the Nations Cup next year in Cameroon, but insists what is on their mind for now is how to send Uganda back home with defeat.
