KAA Gent will be without the services of crafty winger, Moses Simon this season, as the former SK Trencin of Slovakia star has admitted he is on his way out of the club.
Following several weeks of speculations, including talk about going to either England or Germany, the youngster has confirmed his exit from Gent, but did not state his next port of call.
Simon, though, admitted if the right offer from England comes, he might consider it as the best option form him, since he prefers staying in central Europe.
Consequently, Simon will not play in Gent’s first home game of the season against Zulte Waregem on Sunday.
The 23-years-old went on state that his time at Gent was exciting, but he has now started transfer discussions with clubs in France, Spain and Germany.
Simon reminisced: “Gent has been my family for the past four years but the game is about moving and staying, so maybe it’s time for me to seek a brand new challenge.
“I’m seeking a transfer out of the club; discussions are already ongoing with my agents and very soon a final decision will be taken.
“Well, for now, I can’t really say of any precise offers from England; already they have been contacts from clubs in Spain, Germany and France so we will just wait and see what happens soonest.”
