‘We are what we are’ is Crotone’s Simy Nwankwo message ahead of tomorrow’s meeting with Calcio Padova.
Crotone haven’t won in their last four games in the Italian Serie B, something that is worrisome for a promotion seeking side.
“We are a humble team with ambition,” the Nigeria international said in conversation with Footballlive.ng.
“We go into this game with confidence. We will be out of the bad patch in the league.
“It seems as if we are living on the edge after four games without a win, but we are relaxed and willing to bounce back.”
Simy then outlined his respect for opponents Calcio Padova, who are on a five game winless run.
“They’re on a complicated streak, not good like us too, but I think they are a team with many options, that defends well and has constructed a good squad.”
