six points will restore much needed confidence as the league progresses – Barrister Isaac Danladi.

Date:

The chairman of Nassarawa United spoke with www.footballlive.ng immediately after their 2-0 victory over Akwa united.

It is a much needed victory because you can see since the league started,  we have being under serious tension  and pressure but with the six points we have now gotten,  i believe it’s going to restore much need confidence we need in this boys.
As you can see the played very well,  it was very tough game quiet OK but which after a locker room talk with them before the second half,  the boys popped up their game which their hard work gave birth to their success achieved at the end of the game .
Regarding the team Nassarawa United heading towards the top position on the log,  i will say it’s too early to start celebrating,  because this is just the second victory we’ve had and we have to remain focused, work hard and keep our heads and shoulders very low so that confidence doesn’t set in.
We are going to approach every game as it comes and by the special grace of God we going to surmount  the other matches ahead of us.
Regarding our next match against Kano pillars,  it is a battle against a familiar enemy,  which we are going there to flex our muscles,  as rightly pointed out Kano is not an unfamiliar territory to us.
Fortunately for us we had a glimpse of what we are expecting as we were opportune to watch them  against Plateau United , which i believe they technical crew and they boys took time out to watch them too.
Honestly from what i saw from their match i think we are likely to pick points or a point in Kano he concluded.
