Sokoto United Football Club has announced the suspension of their head coach, Mansur Abdullahi over disagreements with the club’s management according to reports.
Abdullahi, who assumed the coaching role at the beginning of the 2024 Nigeria National League (NNL) season, was reportedly suspended following a fallout with the club’s management.
The former Falconets assistant coach last oversaw the team during a President Federation Cup Round of 64 match.
Sokoto United is gearing up for their upcoming fixtures, including a Round of 32 clash against NNL side Nasarawa United. Additionally, the team is set to participate in the NNL Super Eight playoff.
The Championship playoffs are scheduled to be held at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu later this month.
