Liverpool’s Nigerian-born striker, Dominic Solanke could be on the way to joining his former colleague, Jordon Ibe at Bournemouth, as January loan possibilities keep coming his way.
Footballlive.ng gathered that Bournemouth are hoping to take Solanke on loan from Liverpool for the second half of the season, with a strong possibility of joining Ibe, who until last season was also at The Reds.
The Cherries are rumoured to be on the lookout for a new attacking player ahead of the January window, having also been linked with Preston North End’s Callum Robinson.
With Jermain Defoe being offered to Championship sides, Ibe’s team could move to bring in his fellow-England youth international, Solanke.
However, The Reds are said to be seeking assurances that the former Chelsea product will not just warm the bench on a weekly basis, as has been the case for Defoe.
Bournemouth are expected to face competition from Premier League rivals Huddersfield Town for Solanke’s signature, while Rangers and Galatasaray are also in the running.
