South East/South South Tournament Congratulates Rangers

Organizers of the South East/ South South preseason tournament has congratulated the 2018 AITEO cup winners Rangers International of Enugu for their dexterity in ensuring that they emerged victorious in the finals of the 2018 AITEO cup played in Asaba, Delta State.

Speaking at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba immediately after the energy shocking encounter, the Coordinator of the Program which is in its second edition, Patrick Ngwaogu said they are proud of the performance of the team,  which showed that they are a worthy Champions.
Ngwaogu said the Rangers team really exhibited “the never say die” attitude of the traditional Rangers International that remained a household name not only in Nigeria, but in the whole of Africa. “we are very proud of the team,  most especially their come back approach. Many teams would have given up immediately the game was three zero. But, the spirit of the traditional Rangers that was rekindled to bring the victory was unprecedented. We congratulates them, because they really made us proud as organizers of the South East/ South South preseason tournament. “
Continuing, Ngwaogu said “Rangers played a prominent role in ensuring that the South East /South South preseason tournament becomes a reality. They stood solidly behind the organizers and participated effectively in the maiden edition. You know Rangers is a traditional team South of the Niger, and their prominence is always acknowledged.We congratules them,  and hope to see them in Abakaliki where they would perfect the strategies of taking Africa by a storm next season “.
The second edition of the South East/ South South preseason tournament holds in Abakaliki,  Ebonyi State from 4th to 10 November. Teams that have already confirmed their participation are Abia Warriors of Umuahia, Rivers United of Port Harcourt , FC Ifeanyi Ubah of Nnewi ,  Heartland of Owerri,  Cynosure FC of Abakaliki,  SKE FC of Port Harcourt and Patriot FC of Enugu.
