Spain beat England 2-1 to win the EURO 2024 title and their third European Championship title in 16 years on Sunday night, in Berlin.
Spain took the lead shortly after halftime with a goal from Nico Williams. However, England quickly responded with an equalizer from substitute Cole Palmer few minutes later. Mikel Oyarzabal secured the victory for Spain with a decisive goal just four minutes to end of the EURO 2024 final.
Dani Olmo also made a crucial goal-line save heading out a possible 2-2 equalizer goal for England.
This loss is England’s second consecutive loss in a European Championship final, following their defeat to Italy in Euro 2020.
