Super Eagles defender Stephen Eze was in action for Locomotiv Plodiv as they suffered a 2 – 0 home loss to FK 12th placed Septemvri Sofia in the Bulgarian First Professional League on Tuesday.
In a shock result at the Locomotiv Stadium Plodiv, Septemvri took the lead through Asen Chandarov’s penalty in the 30th minute before Boris Galchev made it 2 – 0 in the 86th minute to hand the away side a hard fought victory over 10th placed Locomotiv Plodiv.
Nigerian International Eze who was on for all 90 minutes of the encounter was shown a yellow card for a bookable offence in the 29th minute which led to the opponents first goal of the match as he committed the foul inside his 18 yard box.
Locomotive Plodiv will face seventh placed Etar away from home in their next league fixture to be played by 2:45 pm on Sunday.
Locomotiv Plodiv is currently 10th on the league table after 22 game winning seven games, five draws and five losses.
