Success Declares: My Confidence Is Now Stronger

Date:

Watford of England striker, Isaac Success is looking eagerly forward to playing a part in the Super Eagles’ Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Libya, as he says his confidence in front of goal is now better than ever.

Success has been on a roll early this season with Watford, raining goals in the English Premier League and Carabao Cup, but he says his emotions got a boost with his recall to the Super Eagles.

Consequently, footballlive.ng reports that the product of BJ Foundation FC of Benin City is now looking to make a huge mark in Uyo, as he aims to edge ahead of former Watford teammate, Odion Jude Ighalo in the fresh pecking order of Nigeria’s top strikers.

Success has featured for The Hornets this season more than he had done since his arrival from Granada of Spain, and pointed out that it is largely due to his ability to stay injury-free.

The UAE 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup winner admitted that injuries slowed down what he could have achieved with the Eagles.

Success, though, is now thrilled with his call up to the Eagles against the Libyans on Saturday, and noted that the invitation is a plus to his career.

“I will say that Eagles call up is a big plus to my career and confidence ahead of the Africa Nations Cup qualifier against Libya,” Success said.
