The stock of Watford striker, Isaac Success keeps rising, as the Super Eagles returnee has now been nominated for The Hornets’ goal of the month award.
In the wake of a return to goals scoring form and remarkable work rate with his club, Success has gained a recall to the Nigerian national team for next weekend’s battle against Libya, ahead of which footballlive.ng notes he could have a massive personal boost heading into the national team’s camp.
Such a huge confidence booster it would be for Success, should he come tops, as he has been named among the honours list, for which voting is available at Watfordfc.com until Friday.
Success’s breathtaking goal against Tottenham Hotspur in the third round of the Carabao League Cup is in the list for The Hornets’ award for September 2018.
Within forty seconds of the restart, Success used his strength and pace to shrug off Ivorian defender Serge Aurier before blasting the ball home from 12 yards.
In September, the Hornets scored three goals against Tottenham and all have been nominated for the Goal of the Month, and Success has to beat off competition from Roberto Pereyra, Craig Cathcart and Andre Gray to win the gong.
