In a statement signed by the club’s team manager Kenny Odogun, the Owena Whales conveyed their gratitude to God for the preservation of lives, emphasizing that no life was lost in the ghastly incident.
Odogun extended prayers for the speedy recovery of the accident victims and urged both the Delta State Government and the management of Delta Queens FC to offer unwavering support to the affected individuals and their families during this challenging time.
Despite the ordeal, Delta Queens are slated to face Remo Stars Ladies at the Remo Stars Stadium today.
