Utility player Kehinde Adedipe has emphatically declared that Sunshine Stars are top flight product. The Owena Whales wallow in the dreaded relegation zone after 24 matches in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL)
With the team amassing 28 points and occupying 18th spot, Adedipe said that the Akure based side will climb up the ladder and retain their top tier status.
“It is usually frustrating to see your team wallow in the relegation zone. This is not where Sunshine Stars really belong,” Adedipe mused in a chat with Footballlive.ng.
“We have come a long way and won’t be blown apart in the quest to survive. This club is a top flight side, that’s what we hope to show.
“Many feel we might go down at the end of the season but I don’t think so.
