Sunshine Stars Technical Adviser, Kennedy Boboye, has credited the recent appointment of the Commissioner for Sports by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for bringing much-needed direction to the team.
Boboye, who previously coached Akwa United, expressed the positive impact of recent changes within the club, stating that they will contribute to improving the team’s performance.
During a meeting with the new commissioner in Akure, the state capital, Boboye expressed satisfaction with the progress made by the team in recent weeks. He also commended the supporters of Sunshine Stars for their unwavering dedication and appealed to them to continue supporting the team.
With the suspension of the club’s general manager, Boboye explains the team’s future under the new leadership.
“I’m glad we are getting direction gradually because, since my appointment, what the team lacked was direction because no one gave productive directives, but now things are taking shape,” Boboye remarked, expressing his contentment with the positive developments within the club.
