Sunshine stars Fc of Akure are the winners of Governor Wike’s Unity Garden City Cup after beating Rivers United via penalty shoot out.
Regulation time ended in a barren draw both teams, Sunshine did it in a grand style by winning 4 goals to 3 it ended in favour of Akure Gunners.
With this victory sunshine have succeeded to have won two pre-season tournament within space of one month.
It could be recalled that Sunshine Fc were the winner of gold cup tournament which took place in Akure ,now they’ve won Gov. Wike pre-season , making it double trophy to their credit .
