Super Eagles Moves Camp Arrival Ahead of World Cup Qualifier

Super Eagles have adjusted their camp arrival date to Tuesday, May 28, for their upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against South Africa’s Bafana Bafana.

Originally set for Saturday, June 1, the team will now assemble in Uyo three days earlier to kickstart preparations for the crucial fixture.

Under the guidance of coach Finidi George, the squad will face Bafana Bafana at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Friday, June 7, before taking on Benin’s Squirrels shortly after.

With two points from two games, the Super Eagles currently occupy third place in Group C, trailing leaders Rwanda and second-placed South Africa.
