Super Falcons Defender Chidinma Okeke Makes History

Super Falcons centre-back, Chidinma Okeke becomes the first Nigerian to sign for Club America Femenil.

Chidinma joined Mexican club on an undisclosed contract details by the club.

The 24-year-old defender previously played for Japanese side Mynavi Sendai.

Okeke has also had also spent her professional career in Spain with Madrid CFF and in Turkey with Hapoel Be’er Sheva.

She was part of Nigeria’s female football squad at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

Chidinma Okeke also featured and played in all three group games which the Super Falcons lost and led to their early elimination from the tournament.
