Super Falcons suffers loss to Dominion Hotspur in friendly

Nigeria’s Women National Team, The Super Falcons lost 3 – 2 to boys team Dominion Hotspur in a preparatory friendly ahead of the Africa Women Cup of nations in Ghana holding from November 17 to December 1.

Super Falcons star Amarachi Okonkwo scored the first goal of the match in the 17th minute after the Dominion Hotspur defense was caught napping. The boy’s team came back in to the game and led the match 2 – 1 at half time after a brace from Etim Junior Friday.

10 minute after the halftime break, Kolawole Bashir confirmed the boy’s team dominance over the Falcons to make the scoreline 3 – 1 before Rivers Angels forward Chioma Wogu scored the second for the Ghana bound team.

Coach Thomas Dennerby had a full complement of the squad after the arrival of his foreign pros at the Jubilee Charlets Resort, Epe, Lagos.
