The Super Falcons of Nigeria are gearing up for an exciting start to their Olympic campaign as they prepare to face Brazil in their opening fixture at the 2024 Olympic Games.
Scheduled to take place at the Stade Matmut-Atlantique in Bordeaux, France, the highly anticipated encounter will kick off at 6pm on Thursday, July 25.
Following their clash with Brazil, Randy Waldrum’s side will take on world champions Spain in their second game, which is set to be held at the Stade de la Beaujoire in Nantes. This match is scheduled for three days later, also at 6pm.
The nine-time African champions will then conclude their group stage campaign with a fixture against Japan on Wednesday, July 31. The game will be played at the same venue as their match against Spain, the Stade de la Beaujoire, and will kick off at 4pm.
The Super Falcons secured their spot in Paris 2024 after a hard-fought victory over South Africa, winning 1-0 on aggregate in the qualifying playoffs last week. With their sights set on Olympic glory, the team is ready to showcase their talent and determination on the world stage once again.
