Super Falcons of Nigeria will play a friendly match against Canada ahead of the 2024 Olympic Games. The preparation match will take place in Sevilla, Spain, on Wednesday, July 17.
The Super Falcons will open their training camp in Sevilla for two weeks as part of their preparations for the Olympics tournament.
The two teams previously clashed during the group stage of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, which ended in a goalless draw.
Head coach Randy Waldrum recently announced his 18-player squad for the Olympics.
The eleven-time African champions who will be returning to the Olympics since 2008 have been drawn in Group A along with world champions Spain, Japan, and Brazil.
Their first match at the Olympics will be against Brazil at the Stade Bordeaux on July 25.
Following that, they will compete against Spain at the same venue on July 28, before concluding the group stage against Japan on July 31.
