Super Falcons goalkeeper Tochukwu Oluehi has promised to reward her former team players, Rivers Angels of Port Harcourt if they win the 2024 President FA Cup on Saturday.
The Eastern Flames FC goalkeeper in the Saudi Arabian Women’s League revealed this after training with the team at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, the venue of the cup tie.
Rivers Angels will face Naija Ratels at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena at 1 pm on Saturday, June 29, aiming to win the cup.
According to Oluehi, “I told them that if they win, I will gift them something tangible. I also came to train with them to encourage them to go out and win for the state. I know what you get if you win a trophy for Rivers State. So, I just want to motivate them to do well,” she said per Gongnews.net.
Tochukwu Oluehi has a history of success with Rivers Angels, having won the FA Cup with the team in 2017 and 2018 and the League in 2019 before moving abroad to further her career.
Oluehi has enjoyed successful spells in Belarus, Norway, Spain, and Israel and currently playing in the Saudi Arabian League.
