Taiwo Abdulrahman: We were unlucky

Date:

FC Nitra striker Taiwo Abdulrahman claimed that ‘luck was on Slovan Bratislava’s, after they went down 2-1 on Sunday.

Goals from Andraz Sporar and David Holman condemned Nitra to a defeat against Slovan Bratislava at the Stadion pod Zoborom.
Taiwo Abdulrahman played the full match duration for his team in the Slovakian Super Liga game.
“The final seven minutes of the first half was very sloppy for us. We were very unlucky to concede at that period. It didn’t help us at all,” he told Footballlive.ng.
“But despite our goal in the second half, we suffered a lot after the two red cards. We all make mistakes, but we’re a team.
“Luck was on Slovan Bratislava’s side, and they made the most of it. We can’t allow ourselves to get complacent and let our guard down.
“We’ll take time to rectify our mistakes during the forthcoming international break.”
