Liverpool loanee Taiwo Awoniyi and compatriot Philip Azango both featured for KAA Gent U23s in a 1-1 draw at Lokeren.
Both players have played for then main team this season.
Awoniyi has made nine league appearances this season, while Azango’s only appearance was last month at Sint-Truiden.
Awoniyi was a late substitute last weekend when Gent thrashed hosts Ostende 4-0.
Gent next league game will be on Friday at home against Sporting Charleroi.
Gent, who are sixth on the league table with 17 points from 11 matches, are now undergoing a massive re-organisation following the appointment of new Danish coach Jess Thorup.
