Aston Villa of England striker, Tammy Abraham is very happy that he hit target again at the weekend, but the lad on loan from Chelsea says he is still far from achieving his target of 30 for the season.
Footballlive.ng can report that Abraham’s effort against Sheffield United on Friday took his total so far to 20 so far this season, the Nigerian-born striker is targeting his best ever haul since becoming a professional.
Tammy helped Villa catapult from three goals down to pull off a draw in the encounter against Sheffield United, whose striker, Billy Sharp is also in the race to become the second-tier division’s top scorer.
Tammy is still two goals behind Sharp, who scored a hat-trick on the evening to keep alive his chances of topping the scorers’ chart at the end of the ongoing campaign.
However, aside the top scorer’s prize, Tammy is also seeking his best term ever in front of goal, but he still needs seven to top the 26 in total he got while on loan at Bristol City during the 2016/17 season.
