Gabon international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has just become the latest African superstar to sign for the London outfit Arsenal and this transfer has sparked us to take a look 10 others who have played under the management of Arsene Wenger.

The 2016/17 FA Cup champions confirmed the £56 million (R936 million) signing of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday afternoon.

The Gunners, who currently have the likes of Alex Iwobi and Mohamed Elneny playing for them, have traditionally had a big following in Africa which was largely down to the fact that they have had numerous amounts of footballers from our continent represent them.

According to Transfermarkt, Wenger has won the Premier League on three occasions during his reign, and in that time we have seen four Africa’s lifted the prestigious trophy, and they were Lauren, Nwankwo Kanu, Christopher Wreh and Kolo Toure.
