The battled of two previous AWCON winners in Ghana today .

Date:

In few hours time a clash of two previous champions of the AWCON will be holding by 5 pm today  as the Super Falcons of Nigeria faces Nzalang Nacional of Equatorial Guinea in a fearless battle.

It could be recalled that the Nzalang Nacional won the AWCON in 2008 and 2012 respectively while the Super Falcons have won the trophy more times and are also the present defending champions.
Ever since the commencement of the competition Nzalang Nacional the two time champions have been seen as the weaker amazon having conceded 12 goals in just two matches in the competition and are last on the log with no point to their credit.
The 12 goals conceded by the Nzalang Nacional of Equatorial Guinea has registered the team as of the one teams with the highest number of conceded goals in the competition so far.
While the Super Falcons has so far conceded just a goal from the start of the competition.
Today defines the position of  the Super falcons position in the on going AWCON , a win certainly against the Guineans gives us an edge in the competition, but not totally forgetting the match against Zambia and South Africa says it all for the Super Falcons.
Just few left hours for the defending champions to know their fate in the Women Cup of Nations .
Will the clock work in our favour or against against us?
 Time will tell.
