The long rivalry brought out the best of the two teams. Coach Biffo.

Date:

It was the best match so far in the on going pre-season tournament here in kano as kano pillars battled Katsina United in a thrilling Encounter in the pyramid city Ahlan pre-season tournament yesterday.

It was a spectacular match to behold as both teams dazzled the fans with tremendous and skillful play, sending the crowd in wild wings of cheers.

Thought the match ended in defeat for the ‘chanji boys’ as ma su Gida wipped them clean with 2-0 at the Sani Abacha’s stadium.

Speaking exclusively to www.footballlive.ng is the head coach of Katsina United caoch Abdullahi Biffo .

A match against pillars is always like a tug of war, my boys certainly lost out because they have always had the long time rival notion in them when ever they have an encounter with Kano pillars .

Though, It was a wonderful game, i would say, this is actually our very first match since we resumed training for the new season ahead, the boys actually gave good account of themselves which i believe by the next match ,we will come out much better and settled.

Regarding our opponent, Kano pillars had more control of the game especially in the first 45 minutes, they had a better ball possession than us in the first half and i believe from what i saw yesterday if they continue this way sky is their limit ,sentiments aside honestly they played very well yesterday.

Concerning my goal keeper, i would honestly say, for Yinka being in goal yesterday for us, he was tremendously awesome at the goal post, he actually made lots of good saves for the team, i can see great improvement in him so far. He concluded. Attachments area
