Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr has come out to make a detailed reasons for his inclusion of Samuel Chukwueze the Villarreal forward in the 2019 AFCON qualifier match against South Africa and also the friendly match against Uganda in Asaba.
Super Eagles coach gave the reasons that he invited the 19-year-old because the player was quick and also has a good left foot
The German tactician made it know that the team need a player like Samuel Chukwueze to give the team the right balance in the attack line.
Chukwueze has a good left foot, is quick, has a low centre of gravity which gives him a very good balance.
It could be recalled that Rohr called up Chukwueze to the senior national team of Nigeria for the first time since representing Nigeria at U-17 and U-20 levels.
Franco German concluded by saying Chukwueze can deliver and score goals, that’s why need a player like him to give us balance in attack and he can also play through the middle as well.
