Team coordinator of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, Patrick Pascal has hailed national team gaffer Gernot Rohr for trying his best, in terms of his decision making when giving players the chance to play for the national team.
According to Pascal, he believes that the chance accorded to other players in the team’s victory over Liberia yesterday is a clear indication that the team is open to all.
“I like the fact the coach Gernot Rohr is an open minded person with the invitation of more players to the Super Eagles team,” the ex international said to Footballlive.ng in an exclusive interview.
“We defeated Liberia with the core of fringe players performing at a decent level. They proved that they are capable of staking claims for jerseys.”
“The team is open to all. One can’t dispute such. I belief the future of the Super Eagles is very bright,” he added.
