Tornadoes release 12 players

The management of Niger Tornadoes Football Club, Minna has released 12 players from the club squad ahead of the 2018/19 Nigeria Professional Football League season.

This followed a resolution of the board of the Minna based club after a rigorous meeting with the technical department on Wednesday.

Head coach of the team Bernard Ogbe disclosed that the “the release of this players was based on the last season performance due to the performance report that was submitted by the team technical department”

“The club wishes the affected players success in their future endeavours.”

The management has also decided that there will be no open screening of players for the next NPFL season but added that only players recommended by the technical department will be allowed to train with the rest of the squad.
