CD Feirense of Portugal have extended their connections with Nigerian players by hooking the signature of Tosin Kehinde from Manchester United of England, in a deal that sees him as a direct replacement for Oghenekaro Etebo.
Kehinde has already expressed his desire to enact a switch in nationality, to play for the Super Eagles, hence his Nigerian link at Feirense, in a four year deal, after shinning mostly in United’s youth team.
Kehinde passed a routine medical with the club few minutes ago and he will be officially unveiled in the afternoon by the Portuguese side, who are hoping he will fill the void created by the departure of Etebo to Stoke City.
He joins on a free transfer but Man United are due some form of compensation from the Portuguese side, who are going to officially unveil the midfielder who can also play as a winger this later by noon.
His move brings to an end talks about a move to SK Brann of Norway, who were the early front runners for his signature despite interest from another Portuguese side, Rio Ave.
