Turkish Super Lig club Trabzonspor has made a new offer to Southampton for Nigeria international Paul Onuachu.
Trabzonspor is eager to secure Onuachu for another season following his successful loan spell last term, during which he scored 15 goals in 21 league appearances.
Southampton previously rejected Trabzonspor’s initial offer of another loan deal. The latest offer, according to reports is also a loan but includes an option to buy permanently if certain conditions are met.
Paul Onuachu joined Southampton from Belgian Pro League team KRC Genk in January 2023 but struggled to make an impact, failing to score in 11 league appearances for the Saints.
