Bursaspor of Turkey defender, William Troost-Ekong has expressed a high level of happiness over the reunion he had with his club mates, following his arrival for pre-season training.
The 24-year-old, who made 27 league appearances for Bursaspor last season and hit the net twice, is now angling for a bright start, when the team open their campaign in the 2018/2019 season with an away game against Fenerbahce on August 11.
Troost-Ekong had an extended break from the club, due to his exertions with Nigeria at the World Cup, such that he admits being able to eventually team up with his pals is a huge delight for him.
The Holland-born stopper, who was one of the Super Eagles’ regulars at the World Cup in Russia, took to social media to reveal his delight on resumption at Bursaspor, especially regarding his reunioin with his teammates.,
After lining out for his opening session back in Turkey, Troost-Ekong stated gleefully: “First training with the boys. Feels good to be back!”
