ADO Den Haag defender Tyronne Ebuehi is reportedly ill and in doubt for an appearance away to FC Groningen on Sunday.
The 22-year-old went the distance as ADO Den Haag claimed a 1-0 win over Vitesse in the league on Thursday evening, only for him failing to show up for training on Fridayand his availability for the match at Noordlease Stadion is in doubt.
Despite speculation over his future at the Hague based club, the transfer window closed for business and he remained a player of ADO Den Haag.
Ebuehi, however, rejected overtures from the higher-ups at ADO Den Haag to extend his contract and will head to Benfica as a free agent with effect from July 1.
The defender has started all but one of the matches contested by ADO Den Haag in the Eredivisie, missing the game vs Groningen in December due to an indirect card suspension.
