UEFA has decided to retain Felix Zwayer as the referee for the Euro 2024 semi-final between England and the Netherlands on Wednesday.
The decision has sparked controversy due to Zwayer’s past.
The 43 year old referee previously faced a six-month ban for accepting a €300 (£253.82) bribe from fellow referee Robert Hoyzer in a scandal that occurred in 2005.
Despite his history, UEFA conducted a review and chose to proceed with Felix Zwayer for the semi-final match.
The England vs Netherlands game will kick off at 8 PM in Dortmund.
