Date:

Goalkeepers, Daniel Akpeyi and Theophilus Afelokhai will be on parade on Tuesday when the Super Eagles of Nigeria host the Cranes of Uganda to a friendly match in Asaba.

The Technical Crew confirmed that both goalkeepers would have an equal share of the 90 minutes with Daniel Akpeyi set to start while Theophilus Afelokahi will be in goal for the second half.
It going to be a litmus test for the two keepers as both have been out of Super Eagles action for some time
The opportunity beckons on the two keepers to prove that they deserve to be invited back to the camp of the Super Eagles in the near future.
It could recalled that Daniel Akpeyi and Theophilus Afelokahi  were the two goalkeepers in 2015 in the match against against Bafana Bafana of South Africa and that match Akpeyi was in goal while Afelokahi was on bench.
Again, familiar situation it’s about to replay itself, but this time around Daniel Akpeyi will be in the Starting line up, while Afelokahi will complete the game.
