Deportivo La Coruna of Spain B-team goalkeeper, Francis Odinaka Uzoho has begged his colleagues in the Super Eagles to help him get a clean sheet against Argentina on Tuesday, as he says it is a collective effort that would make it possible.
The 19-year-old shot-stopper, who was Golden Eaglets’ third choice in the winning team at UAE 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup, said he needs the assistance of the Eagles’ defenders and all others to help him keep a promise of not conceding a goal against the Argies.
Uzoho stressed that he is determined to keep a clean sheet on Tuesday, as it is very vital is for the Eagles to beat Argentina and he will do his best to ensure victory is achieved.
He, however, stressed that it is a united assignment, and only collective effort from the players would make their mission accomplished at the end of the day.
“We have worked hard for this game and I hope to work hard on the pitch not to let in any goal during the match.
“It is the collective effort that is better. We shall all work very hard to get the result we need to qualify for the next round of the competition,” Uzoho disclosed.
