Elche of Spain goalkeeper, Francis Odinaka Uzoho is set to welcome the older brother of Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba at the lower division Segunda Liga club this month.
Footballlive.ng gathered that Uzoho, who is on loan from second division rivals, Deportivo La Coruna and is now Elche’s first choice keeper, will have the pleasure of playing behind Florentin Pogba for the remaining part of the ongoing season.
Uzoho will now await unfolding events to confirm his club’s new arrival, as the former Saint-Etienne defender has been handed a trial at Elche and will be tested for a week at the second-tier Spanish outfit.
The 28-year-old Pogba, who last played for Turkish side, Genclerbirligi, has been a free agent since the expiry of his contract last summer.
Uzoho would be glad to read citations that say Florentin has plenty to offer Elche in terms of experience, having made 193 senior appearances in all competitions, including the first and second divisions of France.
