Vicky Lopez Receives First Senior National Team Call-Up for Spain

Vicky Lopez, the talented midfielder with eligibility for the Super Falcons, has earned her first call-up to the Spanish senior women’s national team.

Lopez, who currently plays for Barcelona, will join Spain for their UEFA Women’s Nations League semi-final against the Netherlands at the Estadio Olimpico de Sevilla.

Born in Madrid to a Spanish father and a Nigerian mother, Lopez previously represented Spain at the U-17 level and was awarded the Golden Ball at the 2022 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup. This call-up marks a significant step in her international career.
