Super Eagles and Bayer Leverkusen forward, Victor Boniface, has dismissed rumors that he ended his four-year relationship with Norwegian partner, Rikke Hermine, due to disputes over a legal marriage and prenuptial agreement.
The allegations, first reported by African Hub, claimed that Hermine insisted on a legal marriage without a prenuptial agreement, which Boniface allegedly declined to protect his financial future.
Prenuptial agreements are legal contracts designed to secure the financial assets of both parties in case of divorce or death.
However, Victor Boniface took to X (formerly Twitter) to deny the claims, calling the reports baseless.
In a now-deleted post, the Leverkusen star wrote, partly in Pidgin English:
“Stop posting fake shit. You guys know nothing about ……Una go just carry phone without knowing wetin dey sup just post. No be everybody be like una sister. So respect urself. Everything you guys say about her are all lies.”
The statement makes it clear that Boniface intends to set the record straight, urging the public to stop spreading false narratives about his personal life.
This response comes as Boniface remains in the spotlight for his performances with Bayer Leverkusen and the Super Eagles following his return for weeks long injury.
