Victor Moses becomes highest-scoring Nigerian in EPL

Super Eagles Forward, Victor Moses is now the highest Nigerian scorer in the EPL following his winning strike against high-flying Burnley at the Turf Moor on Thursday Night.

Victor Moses’ second-half goal against Burnley has seen him overtake Alex Iwobi to be EPL’s highest-scoring Nigerian this season.

The former Wigan Athletic player returned to Chelsea’s starting XI after coming from the bench in Chelsea’s 3-2 victory at Southampton,

Moses fired in the winning goal in the 69th minute at Turf Moor, his third this season and 20th in England’s top flight.

Iheanacho was the highest-scoring Nigerian last season with four goals, while Moses, Iwobi and Victor Anichebe got three apiece.

Yakubu Aiyegbeni leads the all-time chart with 95 goals AS Nwankwo Kanu (54) and Efan Ekoku (52) are second and third respectively.
