Napoli forward Victor Osimhen is expected to sit out the team’s away match against Fiorentina on Friday due to a muscle injury sustained during last weekend’s home defeat to Bologna.
The 25-year-old striker has not trained with his teammates this week, instead undergoing physiotherapy and personalized gym work on Wednesday.
This injury adds to a series of setbacks Osimhen has faced since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations in January and February.
Victor Osimhen has managed to score 15 goals in Serie A this season for the Partenopei.
His absence will be a big blow to struggling Napoli who have not won any of it’s last 5 Seria A fixtures drawing 3 and losing 2.
