Hopoel Be’er Sheva recorded a big win yesterday, getting past Maccabi Peta Tikva 4-1 in the Israeli Premier League aided by a hat trick from Ben Sahar and a powerful combative display in the middle of the park by John Ogu which drew massive accolades from the fans.
The Super Eagles star was moved by chants of his name by the fans moving closer to salute them in a gesture of appreciation.
Ogu had earlier on his social media platforms dedicated the win to the fans for their continued support of the team since the start of the season.
The combative left footed midfielder was included in Gernot Rohr’s 24 man list for the Super Eagles AFCON 2019 double header date against Libya in Uyo on Saturday October 13 and a return leg fixture three days later in Sfax.
