The Super Falcons of Nigeria proved unbeatable once more as they overcame a resistant Banyana Banyana squad on penalties after a barn draw.
The falcons pressurized the Banyana Banyans for 120 minutes to retain their Women Africa Cup of Nations title in Accra on Saturday.
It was the third successive win and ninth overall for the Nigerian girls.
Victory was achieved despite the Falcons missing injured striker Desire Oparanozie, and on the back of a 75thminute penalty miss by Asisat Oshoala.
The Super falcon goalkeeper Tochukwu Oluehi, excellent throughout, saved the day by her last minute catch to propel the falcons to a back to back win.
