Wasiu Jimoh warns of Katsina danger

Date:

FC Ifeanyi Ubah utility player, Wasiu Jimoh has warned of the danger of underestimating Katsina United when the teams meet at the Fortress on Wednesday 18th July.

The Anambra Warriors have taken just 28 points from a possible 72 so far this season and Wasiu Jimoh is aware that the desire for Ladan Bosso’s men to register their 8th win of the Nigeria Professional Football League season is vital.

“Their need is urgent and that makes them dangerous,” said Wasiu Jimoh, who appeared before Footballlive.ng.

“Katsina United are 7th in the table which shows they are a very good team. They were always in the game and that means they are very competitive.

“However, a win for us would make FC Ifeanyi Ubah move away from the relegation zone.”

The club currently lie 17th on the NPFL ladder. Nonetheless, as Wasiu Jimoh pointed out, ‘what matters are the points and an 8th win for us would be great’.
