We achieve our aim for not conceding a goal at home-Rasak Adegbite

The Premiere League Champions Primeiro De Agosto of Angola who have three Nigerians on its pay roll Rasak Adegbite, Ibukun Akinfewa and Yisa Anifowoshe enjoyed a remarkable victory in their first leg of the CAF Champions League against Esperance Tunisia.

The first leg of the semi final which ended in a lone goal victory took place at Premeire de Agosto’s home in Angola.

Speaking to footballlive.ng is the Nigeria import striker Rasak Adegbite of Premeiro de Agosto player on his aura of delight over their victory against Esperance which ended by a Lone goal.

It is a remarkable victory for me and my club, i am exceedingly delighted, we were able to pull through without conceding a goal.

Watching from the reserve bench at first , i was a bit nervous because it was a battle for the fittest before coming on in the second half of the game.

Our opponent Esperance of Tunis were up for serious business and so all thanks to my colleague Yisa Anifowose who was firm relentlessly at the defense area and and other players was up in the second half launching attack along side our passer of the ball Ibukun Akinfenwa

I only had the thoughts of winning in my head, when i got into the field of play in the second half, i was determined to give my very best to achieve our target of winning as a team.

I thank God it came to reality that we won in this great manner and also thanking my team mates because it was a collective effort.

And for the return leg, We shall prepare greatly for it, effective hard work is is our watch word, if we can do it today, we can definitely do it in the return leg that’s is my believe.

The return leg will be in Tunis and having won our Premiere League this Season we also intend to make it a double by winning the caf champions league Cu, former kano pillars player concluded.
